New Book to be released May 2010
My new book, "The Artists Journey: The Perfumed Pilgrim tackles the Camino de Santiago" will be in bookstores in May 2010.The book chronicles my 550 mile trek across Spain on the medieval Pilgrimage route known as "The Way of St. James", or "The Camino de Santiago". We drew the changing multitude of landscapes each day as we followed in the footsteps of those pilgrims who have gone before us, and these 57 drawings are featured in the book. It was an immersion in not only the art, culture, landscape and history of Spain, but a step back in time to a simpler way of life traveled at a slower pace. Please join my friend and fellow artist, Tannis Moore, and I on this challenging and rewarding Artist's Journey as we ate and drank, laughed and cried, drew and hiked across an entire country!
Art Exhibition June 5 Through June 29, 2010
Paintings,Pen and Ink drawings, and my new book centering on the Camino de Santiago will be on display in the new Gallery space at Bellevue Art and Frame June 5-29, 2010. There will be a reception, demonstration, and Meet the Artist event on Saturday, June 5. The new store location is in the Overlake area, 13131 NE 20th St. (Northup Way), Bellevue, WA.

Oasis Art Gallery exhibition October 29, 2010-January 15, 2011
A selection of my Plein Aire Paintings from the Seattle area will be shown at the Oasis Gallery, 3644 Wallingford Ave. N., Seattle, WA.(206-547-5177)from October 20-January 15. Please join us for an artist's reception in conjunction with the Wallingford Art Walk, Wednesday, November 3, 2010. The Oasis Gallery is carrying my prints and book on an ongoing basis.
Gallery Show and Book Signing November 22-December 12, 2010
November 22 through December 12 original paintings and pen and ink drawings on my Camino de Santiago series will be displayed at the Daniel Smith Gallery, 15112 N.E. 24th Street, Bellevue, Washington 98052. A reception and book signing date to be announced.
